IPTV awareness high
IPTV might be a bigger competitor to cable and satellite sooner than you might think. According to a survey on IPTV by Harris Interactive, more than 56 percent of United States consumers say that they have heard of IPTV, and a good number of those who are aware of IPTV are interested in having IPTV in their home. Respondents said that the draw of IPTV is the perception that it will be less expensive and that the technology may allow the consumer to create their own programming schedule.
