AT&T to spend $1 billion in California

AT&T has committed to spending $1 billion to upgrade its plant to fiber in California. The spending is part of Project Lightspeed, for which AT&T has earmarked $4.4 billion . The upgrades will allow AT&T to offer next generation IPTV services along with their current phone and high speed Internet services.
