Adelphia sale approved by bankruptcy court

The bankruptcy judge presiding over the Adelphia case approved the sale on Tuesday. According to the article Bankruptcy Court OKs Adelphia Deal, the judge is "poised to release an order that would detach the asset sale from the rest of Adelphia's bankruptcy process." This would allow the sale to occur without the approval of an overall restructuring plan. Adelphia is trying to hurry the process so that they will beat the July 31 deadline set by Time Warner Cable and Comcast.
